Anonymous asked: What was your series about?
The main one was Star Trek. As a young person experimenting with writing styles, using an established universe and characters to play off of made sense to me. From there I moved onto a sci-fi series I had literally been trying to write since I was in elementary school, which was a rather cliched sci-fi about orphan children sold as slaves who cause a revolt. I don’t recall how far I got into that one, but I don’t think it even had a formal title. I worked so hard on the scientific aspect of that story that I had huge charts written down explaining the faster-than-light drives and how quickly they could move through space based on my measurements, how the propulsion system worked, etc… it was kind of crazy. I drew maps and schematics and everything. I still have some of them.
I did a post-apocalyptic thing that never went anywhere either, and then wrote a bunch of erotica as I got into my mid to late teens. I managed to join up with this group of 30+ published female writers who did this erotica circle jerk writing thing (where one of you writes a chapter and passes it on to the next, and so on). I never told them how old I was and they just assumed I was 35. By the time I left they still had no idea I was a 17 year old virgin. For a long time I considered that one of my best accomplishments.
