Ah shit, my next response got deleted by Tumblr. Fucking Tumblr. Essentially I said “no problem”, and that the woman gives me the creeps and I don’t know how she lives with herself. I found out about the aforementioned blog by way of two (?) women in my expecting clubs who suffered a stillbirth and their stories were literally stolen from where they’d shared them (believing it to be a safe place to grieve with friends, on boards designed for grief) by Amy and reposted on the site to hold as an example of ‘dangerous homebirth’ and ‘stupid women’. She also reposted it to forums where anti-homebirth/anti-midwife OBs publicly debated her. She was humiliated, stalked and terrified in the days immediately following a horrific and traumatic loss. Asking to have it removed just proved to make it worse, and you know how Dr. Amy loves the attention…
She literally trolls grief groups for incidents at home births (or hospital transfers, or just simply midwife-attended births), ignoring the exact same incidents at hospitals, and uses them. Gross. :( Like I said, I don’t know how she lives with herself.
